Once again, automated transcription of voicemail proves to be a good source of much-needed humor.

It’s not that there isn’t a place for automated (computerized) voice-to-text, but the software is just not close to being ready yet (despite the objections of the software companies, of course).  The fact remains that for now and for the foreseeable future, when quality is important there is no replacement for a well-trained, capable and qualified HUMAN transcriber.
